City Tour
Learn about Dar es Salaam past and present with this guided tour of the Tanzanian capital. You'll get the chance to explore the treasures at the National Museum.
Visit Bagamoyo
The town of Bagamoyo – nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site – was once an important trading port and the capital of German East Africa.  
Mbudya Island
Mbudya Island is an uninhabited island in Tanzania, north of the country's largest city, Dar es Salaam and is one of the four islands of the Dar es Salaam Marine Reserve.
Mango Plantation
Most of our family growers who cultivate the traditional cultivars do so in little patches of no more than two acres.

Destination Overview

Tanzania is home to many of the best and biggest parks in Africa, and some of the most varied and unique landscapes that you'll ever see. From grasslands to woodlands, rock formations, and mountain peaks, there's no question that Tanzania features some amazing opportunities for sightseeing, and photo-hunting alike.

DAY ONE
ARRIVAL INTO DAR ES SALAAM

Arrived at Dar Es Salaam Airport (DAR). If a transfer is being arranged be sure to look out for our transfer host. Our driver will meet you in the arrivals pickup area. Look for a sign that says, Sisters Traveling Solo sign.  The driver will depart once all parties in the transfer have arrived.  Make your way to the hotel once you touch down.

DAY TWO

DAR ES SALAAM CITY TOUR


Begin your journey with an enriching city tour featuring visits to vibrant local markets, a historical bookstore, and a chance to shop for unique Swahili textiles.  Follow this with a cultural immersion at the Village Museum, where you'll participate in a private dance performance class, gaining insight into the local traditions and arts.

The day concludes with a delightful Swahili family-style dinner experience at Africando Restaurant, offering a buffet that showcases the rich flavors of the region, accompanied by a refreshing bottled water.
