We are committed to ensuring a transparent and supportive journey from the moment you book with us. Below, we detail our cabin booking and filling policies, including the crucial reasoning behind these measures.
Cabin Booking and Confirmation:
- For a Triple Cabin to be confirmed, it requires a booking by a group of 3 travelers, while a Double Balcony Cabin needs 2 travelers.
- Confirmation Timeline: Official confirmation of cabins will occur in April 2025, allowing us to verify the commitment of all trip participants through their payment history.
Cabin Filling Policy:
Should a cabin member cancel, our policy ensures your plans continue smoothly. We will attempt to fill the vacated spot based on the order of trip sign-ups, aiming to keep your cabin confirmed without imposing additional financial responsibility on you.
Reason for this notice:
The cost of each cabin must be fully covered, regardless of the number of occupants.; Example: The total cost of a triple cabin is $21,000. With 3 people in the triple cabin, each cabin mate will pay $7,000. If one of those cabin mates cancels, the cost for that cabin is still $21,000.
Unfortunately, Sisters Traveling Solo cannot absorb the $7,000 financial burden if that triple cabin is not filled due to cancellations.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Cabin Cancellation by Sisters Traveling Solo: If we find ourselves unable to fill a vacated spot and no further participants are available from the trip signups, we will have to cancel a cabin. This measure is a last resort, taken only when all other options to maintain the booking have been exhausted.
- Refunds: Under such circumstances, where Sisters Traveling Solo cancels your cabin for the reasons specified, we will issue a full refund of your payments. We understand the importance of this expedition and are dedicated to working with you to find the best possible alternatives for your travel plans.
